Unique operation in which the patient had to play the drum

An interesting operation has been performed in Nepal in which doctors had to correct the signals coming to a patient's brain during a specific task. To do this, he played a drum with the patient during the surgery.

The patient's name was Buddha , a musician. He felt that for the first time in thirty years his drum beat had broken. He was worried about how long it would last. He saw his musical journey coming to an end. When he checked with the doctor, one of the diseases was task-specific dystonia Was diagnosed. It is a mental illness in which parts of the body begin to move on their own. According to the doctor, in this type of dystonia, the patient's brain constantly receives these signals and acts on them. Due to which the patient has difficulty in performing various tasks. Because he was having difficulty playing the drums, the doctors asked him to play the drums during the operation to solve his problem. Playing the drums helped the doctors to set the limits of these signals. So that double circuits do not form in their minds. The doctor was successful in this operation. After the operation, Buddha said that when he put wires on my head, I was scared. But I felt better playing the drums. According to the doctors it  was the first surgery for specific dystonia in Nepal. Buddha was given partial anesthesia so that surgeons could detect brain signals while he was playing the drums. After the surgery, Buddha
said, "I am better now and my hands are fine again."
